Day 01 - Hacking my body: 20 lbs in 20 days

Today is January 9th, 2018 and I have not put calories in my body since 11pm last night. This is the first day of my 23/1 intermittent fast. My current weight is 192lbs. I'm in very good health, I just carry too much fat.

In 21 days I hope to weight a healthy 175lbs and intend to reach that weight by changing ONE thing in my lifestyle, the timing of my caloric intake.

Americans eat...all the time.

We eat and eat and eat.

"Fitness" enthusiasts often insist that the only healthy lifestyle is eating 6 or more meals a day, and 1,500-2,000 calories of exercise to become "healthy".

I disagree with this philosophy and have proven to myself losing unneeded weight (surplus stored calories as fat) is much easier.

I will eat a healthy, complex meal of about 1,500 - 2,000 calories most days, the difference being my intake will happen in a single hour, 23 hours from my previous meal.

This protocol does many things but the primary effect is it strictly controls the amount of insulin my body will produce, and will force my body to use stored energy in my fat cells, every day.

What I expect today/My Daily Hypothesis:

I will most likely lose 1-1.5 lbs by tomorrow morning. Lots of that will be water because I will be limiting sodium intake a bit. My weight should be 189 tomorrow morning.

My daily meal template:

8oz - 16oz of beef, as steak, fried in butter
8oz-16oz of zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, sautéed with the steak
One raw avocado (potassium and fat)
Very little white bread, rice, or pasta
Water, Coffee or a sugar-free energy drink

My daily supplements:

 Apple Cider Vinegar
Turmeric

My eating protocol is based on the information shared by Dr. Jason Fung whos interviews can be seen by searching his name on YouTube
